Intercultural Aspects of Success in Bulgaria and Hungary: Linear vs. Relational Cultures

Abstract: The following paper discusses the notion of success as a new cultural orientation. The paper presents the pilot study from the author’s dissertation about notions of success in Bulgaria and Hungary. The main goal is to propose that relational and linear aspects of success can be considered a new dimension of cultural variability that could be used in recruitment procedures in education and business, as well as in various problem-solving practices.
