Doctoral training is a key prerequisite in constructing the European research area and the European Higher Education Area. That is why in a European and an international perspective formal and informal structures of doctoral training at EU universities has already started. The current acticle presents some of the results of the way doctoral students of social and political studies at Sofia University \u201cSt. Kliment Ohridski\u201d feel about their research experience.
