Prof. Yanka Totseva, PhD, is a professor at the European Polytechnical University. She was a lecturer at the Shumen University until 2010. In 2001 she was awarded the position of an associate professor in Theory of education and didactics (pedagogical rhetoric and didactic). She defended her dissertation in 1994. Her scientific interests are in the fields of rhetoric, pedagogical rhetoric, intercultural communication and education. She is the author of more than 100 scientific publications published in our country and abroad, including the books: „Rhetoric“(2006), co-author of „Pedagogical Rhetoric“ (2000), „Problems of Adult Education“ (2001), among others. She has been a guest lecturer at universities and colleges in Italy, the Netherlands and Ireland. She has extensive experience of working in the NGO sector. She has participated in over 50 national and international projects in civil and intercultural education.
