Media, Advertisment and Language Vladimir Dosev – Social, cognitive, and discursive characteristics of media manipulation

Abstract: Media manipulation is one of the most important issues in contemporary societies. According to Van Dijk media manipulation is simultaneously a social, a cognitive, and a discursive phenomenon. This article comments on the various characteristics of media manipulation in Bulgarian political discourse.
