Iryna Maksymenko – Interests and Ideas of the EU’s „Big Three” in the Context of Theories of European Integration (Communicative Aspects)

Abstract: This article scrutinizes the impact of states’ interests on the European Union policy-making, providing an assessment of the idealistic factor’s role in the process of European integration development in theoretical and practical terms. The author is trying to show both the dependence and the mutual influence of the European ideas and national interests of the leading EU states – Britain, France and Germany – which form the new status of a united Europe in international relations through continuous communication.
